Everyone wants to look good and feel good about
themselves. The belief that you can only look good, handsome, beautiful and
sexy only if you are slim has been burned into our subconscious and even the
most confident person still believes that. Little wonder when we hear talk of
how to lose weight in one week , we get excited
and want to experiment on that option hoping that it would work on us;
but how real is it? Is it worth it? Are
we willing to risk our body for it. The irony of the situation is most people
do not care about the means through which they lose weight, just about the
result. Let us examine the various ways through which we can supposedly lose
weight in a week.
The other day Beyonce and Jay Z made news when they embarked on Vegan diet.
But, they did theirs for 21days. Still I hear that embarking on a low diet with
almost no carbohydrate can make you lose weight. Some use lemonade drink diet
course only to look trim, others have taken the course of just water for a
number of days. There are pills which make it seem like you have lost weight
but I am told that those pills are dangerous., also, let me add this since I
tried it. Some people used laxative to make them lose weight; though it seemed
like it worked, was really harmful to the body. The talk of how to lose weight
in one week cannot be quelled easily.
Just last year, an actor embarked on a just
liquid diet to lose weight for a role as an AIDS patient and he did lose weight
but not in one week! Unless you want to go on an hunger strike to starve
yourself but in some cases, the weight you want to lose does not drop that
way. Whilst some say it is easy to lose
weight in just one week, I am on the fence with this as I am sceptical. Weight
loss is a gradual process and I believe that when done hurriedly in such a way
as to hasten your metabolism, it is not such a good thing as it would reflect
negatively on your body. Tales of how to lose weight in one week as far as I am
concerned are farfetched. .
Losing weight so fast is unhealthy! Even if
possible, the defects are harmful and not one of them should be taken lightly.
For a desperate person who is willing to lose weight, one week weight loss is
not a mission to embark upon neither is it a goal to attain, because most
times, let's say you 'miraculously'
loses some pounds in one week, the reality is that you would put on more
than you lost. You added weight gradually, reason says, you have to lose
gradually. Quit leaning on articles, adverts carrying 'how to lose weight in
one weight.
